Hi Bob nice to see a new car on PH i presume its the car AC Roney was selling was a nice car i saw it down here in Surrey before it was finished and sold on e bay if i am not mistaken its the same car nice guy who did most of the work but was moving home and could not take it with him.
I would look locally for a good local tuner with that engine you are probably best to look for someone who specialises in the zetec engine rather than a TVR specialist although others may have other ideas.

Bob. It might be worth ringing Mini Sport at Padiham. A friend who sprints a Capri takes it there pre season for a tune. I think that when they get enough rolling road bookings for carb fed cars they bring the guy in for a full day.
All secondhand info but I bought a Vixen with twin 40s before Christmas which has just got an MOT and as soon as I am confident with the car generally I will be giving them a try.

WGT Auto Developments,Middlewich. They are Mazda rotary specialists but are knowledgable in anything pretty much.
I built a 1460 Mk1 mini with twin SU's and mappable ignition and he did a nice job of setting it up.

Hi, If this is the 2500m that AC Rooney was offering then it was myself who did the lions share of the work/modification on the car. Glad to see it has found a good home, was a real wrench to sell it after so much effort (and expense!).

Good to see another Zetec powered conversion.

Without sounding the voice of doom and gloom, I personally wouldn't put a car on a rolling road without being confident the engine was sound mechanically.

A competent engine tuner should be good enough for road use if you don't have this.
