sounds like a motorbike, 4k is good I paid just over 10k for the full system on my turbo and tbh this sounds better.

Oh my god. That exhaust would have to be figured into the purchase of a 981. That sounds amazing.

Shame they don't do a 987 option. The sports exhaust is good, but these are always lighter and give some power gains.

Oh wow, amazing! Very expensive though. I cringed spending £2.5K ish for one on my old RC8 - I suppose £4K for a car version doesn't sound too bad!

You can buy a Remus Ti for a 987 for 1/2 the cost.

Not convinced I'm afraid, I prefer Porsches to sound 'clinical'. That kind of overrun madness and raw sound more closely represents AMG or BMW M etc to me.

Akrapovic don't actually make any inexpensive exhaust system or back box. I agree it's a silly price but it's not just confined to Porsche.

Carnewal is the answer. €400 and retains the Porsche sound, you even get a bit of burble (though it's nowhere near as loud as that). I can't honestly think of a downside.

To me it doesn't sound massively different from a 981 with sports exhaust. Maybe it's different when you're sat in it...

Yes it's quite loud - but it's not night and day over the PSE option with the button pushed. Get it properly hot and it makes a fair old pop & crackle on the over run at high revs! Equally I might have "tested" it at high revs in a tunnel and found that it's pretty noisy ...... even after a GT3!

They're never promoted as doing so, therefore I guess it is just a noise benefit.

That overrun just makes the exhaust sound like it's broken.
