Hi all trying to find the best route to the track from London as I may bring the motor home (10mpg) looking at the map m6 then a55 or m6 ,m54 then a5? The last one is the shortest but is it stop and start ,any thoughts as I've never been there before thanks Darren

A5 is generally not stop and start, just a 35mph drag following caravans. It has a load of 90 degree bends in as it follows the river down towards Betws-y-Coed, and is a damn fine driving road, but not following a caravan, as there are limited places to pass safely. The dilemma you have is the one faced by everyone going to N Wales from the midlands area.
Mind you at 10 mpg, I'd tend to the shortest route

I generally drag round the motorway, its further but a much easier run and mway / all the way bar the last few miles to the circuit.

ive towed the direct route and its shorter but harder work, and not sure my truck would save much gas.

its alright if you go round the motorway they dont stop you..

its when you go to pembrey that the sheep shaggers make you pay to get in, only to find everythings closed !!

DO NOT FOLLOW SAT NAV AFTER BRITANNIA BRIDGE.
you will end up in the dunes..

peel off at Telford then head for Shrewsbury then Wrexham then Chester, turn left at Chester and follow welsh riviera road all the way to Anglesey.

Stay on the Holyhead road until you see the "Trac" signposted..
