To the Wedge Fest from the North

There are 3 or 4 of us starting from Leeds about 9am (latest) for the run down to the Fest together

We will stop at Woodhall Services M1 near Sheffield for Steve Convert and any others

Anyone wishing to join further south then leave a post here
and I will get back with clearer timings

(I am away from the Office tomorrow so it may be Wednesday)

We do the M42 then the last bit down the Fosse Way

What time do you think you will be passing Tamworth services on the M42? I doesn't sound like there are many coming down the M6 on Saturday morning so I might take the scenic route accross the A5 from Cannock and catch up with your convoy if that's ok.

Hi Karl

We are actually coming down the M69 not the M42 as we then come off at Junc 1 M69
go onto the A5 for 3 miles and join the Fosse Way B4455 for the final run down

Better than motorway all the way when there are 5+ of us

If you want to meet us at the junction of the A5/B4455 Fosse Way
then I would hope to be there soon after 11am

I will pm my mobile no in case you want to call us

I'll text you in the morning if my plans change as I've just had a look on the map and the Run from the A5 down Fosse way looks like it could be fun

But as its my first Fest I think I'm going early as unfortunately I've not made plans to stay on Saturday evening so want to make the most of it.
