Vogue TDV8 second service price.

Hi All

I need a 2 year (24k mile) service. Has anyone had one recently and if so what did it cost? Our local main dealer guarantees to be the cheapest, but then there is always an argument to get them to price match anyone cheaper locally!

DAS Landrover in Horley charge 300 pounds including VAT - they are landrover-approved for warranty and servicing and have all the latest software etc, but if you are in Inverness it might be a bit of a pain to drive 500 miles each way to save a few quid.

Midlands and I have been quote twice that figure. There are some filters in need of change on this service I gather. Was yours a 24 month one at £300?

Checking prices for the same service now, only Land Rover-approved service centres though. Range so far is £636.56 down to £340.00 (which seemed too cheap, but I did double-check).

I had a spread of £460 to £780.

That £340 sound like an error to be honest. But if they are prepared to stand by it, it would be rude to turn them down.

Thought the same - next-cheapest was £464. Never reassuring when you say it's a 4.4 TDV8 and they ask if that's a Sport.

Actually yes £464 was the cheapest. Next cheapest was £581. Most hovered around £675.

A few weeks ago I had an Inspection 2 service carried out on my 2010MY 3.6 TDV8 at Lookers Land Rover in Chelmsford for £400.

Shop around, Guy Salmon in Aylesford wanted £760 originally!!
