Perth Scotland to Bognor Regis!

Its Christmas eve for me as tomorrow I fly up to Perth in Scotland to pick up my 09 Nissan GTR. I have a 9 hour drive back to Bognor Regis but would rather not be sat on the motorway and get to enjoy my new toy.

Can anyone suggest some must do routes on the way down that I can incorporate into my itinerary without deviating off course too much.

EDIT - Argh, Tomorrow. If you're driving back south on Thursday or Friday, avoid the section of route that goes near Kinross. The T in the Park festival is on Thursday - Sunday, traffic will be hellish, especially late Thursday & daytime Friday.

I probably wouldn't bother with the first leg of that route going out to Crieff, just down the A9 and take the route through Gleneagles and over Knockhill.

The route through the borders should be decent too.

That looks like an interesting route through the borders, last week I took the next road south to that, the A708 from Selkirk to Moffat, it was a good drive in the MX5, but might be a bit too small for a GTR.
