Aston Martin "Hot Topic" surveys

I recently agreed to take part in Astons online "Hot Topic" surveys
The first was on the current infotainment system
I think I may have confused them
I actually like the current "ski slope" with the pop up Satnav and the small display in the dash
But I gave them a long list of stuff I'd change but didn't want the Vanquish set up

Any one else taking part?

^^^^^^ I agree with that. No clock in the new Vanq and sat nav permanently to attention.........oh, and the non descript door cards spoil an otherwise fantastic machine.

^^^^^ And the plastic bezel around the instrument cluster. And the gaps in the seams over the side windows for the side airbags. And the slow-shifting, automatic-only gearbox.

We're you invited to take part Mike or is it generally available?

Personally I think they should design out the pop up sat nav as it is a source of rattles, but I like the ski slope because it is smooth and beautiful. Dilemma there straight away!

Of course if they had the money it wouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility to make all or part of the ski slope from black glass (like a smart phone or modern TV for example) with a screen behind and possibly other important dials and the infotainment screen too.

Steve, a high gloss curved ski slope which encompassed the the sat nav operating as per a TV would be amazing . The cost to poor old AM would be horrendous so very unlikely. I am quite sure with Invest Industrials investment that there will be no end of changes just around the corner. Don't expect too many new models though.

Invited - I guess as I bought new not so long ago
I actually like the pop up as I only use it very ocassionally

I prefer the lines of my car's ski slope without the nav system.

I've been invited - on fourth Aston in six years. I'm with Mikeyliking the current set up but have given my opinion as to how it can be improved. Looking forward to future questionnaires.
