Cayman 2.7 - Magnetic Sump Plug?

I'm looking to make an interim oil change on my Cayman (annual changes) and was thinking that while I've not heard of a large number of IMS failures on 2008 2.7s it was probably worth fitting a magnetic sump plug. Any thoughts? Who sells them?

Also, am I right to go with Mobil 1 0W40? A friend picked some up for me from Costco for £30 a tub. The car is used exclusively on the road.

I can't help with the sump plug question but 0w40 Mobil One is what Porsche recommend. You can go thicker if you wish - the manual gives the alternatives.
