Another approach to hair loss
Discussion
Normally, the advice is to use clippers. Or embrace the 80s with a comb over.

And I say this with a baldish, well clippered head myself,
I'm lucky 48 and no sign of loss. However cannot understand why people comb over, in my view all it does is make people stare! I was with the mrs in a pub in Oxford last weekend a young lad early twenties was obviously losing his hair and had an elaborate comb over. I couldn't stop staring... If he had just given himself a no 1 who would have taken any notice?

It must be quite depressing for some guys who do go bald like that at that age. I am receding but at the moment it’s manageable. Once it gets ‘too much’ I’ll just clipper it off and keep it short and then forget about it. No point getting pent up about something that is natural.
That's what my ex said about my one incher.
as a 21 year old balding guy, it wont be too long before i have to drag the clippers out, i have a round moon face though and have a feeling il look like a complete weirdo with a shaved head.
but those videos, theyre still bald??, yes it looks like a shaved head, but for the most part when you see people with shaved heads its because they are bald, ok theres a slight difference from shiny bald to stuble bald, but why would you get tatoo stubble, you still look in essence bald.

Clippers here, too. Did you watch the videos, though?
Just the first two.Might look okay when younger but not sure when older (like me, 45).
I guess if you are very down about it, it might help.
Don't regret clippering mine off as it was gettting thin on top. In fact I really like it and have had mainly favourable compliments.
Only nuisance is the it seems to give idiots a licence to shout things at you.
Have had three incidents so far this year where its ended up in an unpleasant confrontational situation.

That's a shame. I have mine pretty short and do have the occasional lass touch my head... wondering if I should apply the clippers to my pubic area. Might look okay when younger but not sure when older (like me, 45).

Never had anyone shout things at me, though. Maybe they think it's because I look like I'm fresh out of a Chinese prison and belong to the triads.

Yes I get that as well - women do seem to like to rub the old head (if you know what I mean..).

Have no problem with people in a bar/club doing that sort of thing..
However on the street is different. Funny thing is I don't understand why they do it as I'm well over 6 foot and am in pretty good shape for my age.
Mostly it seems to be white-van man and mates - they are almost indignant when I pull them up on it.
I always do give people a chance to apologise though and most do seem to take that opportunity.
Beyond me though why you feel it appropriate to shout "you bald c*nt" from a van at someone walking to work at 08:30 in the morning? Especially when you can see you are approaching a traffic queue, should be obvious that the person will catch you up. Quite what they think it achieves is beyond me.....
