Discussion
I've read some of the tyre postings. Rather than go for a track biased but road legal tyre with problematic wet and cold performance -and limited mileage-, I'm looking for a road tyre this time. Lot of mileage is road on the way to Le Mans, Spa or Dijon.
Speaking to my normal tyre supplier, he is having trouble finding stock of the Pirelli or Michelin in the correct sizes for all corners. He is quoting 5 weeks for both!
So, my questions are,
1 Can anyone recommend a reliable competitive supplier of these tyres in the South East or by an internet supplier for local fitting (pm me if you like)?
2 In the future, given that these sizes are only used on a small number of vehicles, what will be the options when P and M drop them from their range (as Goodyear did)?

We will indeed have problems if this happen, but I guess a solution will be found...So, my questions are,

We have fresh Michelin and Kumho tyres in stock for immediate despatch and can also source Pirelli, Hoosier, and BF Goodrich in a couple of days by customer request.
The tyres are an OE fitment to the Dodge Viper, Lamborghini Diablo, Lamborghini Murcielago and Ferrari F50 to name a few examples. Therefore we don't foresee any tyre availability issues at all in future years.
Regards to all,

Regards to all,
How do the michelins compare to the Good Years and other options as an all rounder? Presumably my rears will wear out quicker than the fronts so may need to mix brands for a while, any issues with this?
Thanks
Mark
Thanks Factory for your update info on the tyre situation.
CH - I was at the Goodwood FOS last week and the Michelin rep said he would contact me with the PS2 and PS3 prices. But he hasn't to date. Phoning around, PS3 seem to be difficult to get hold of in the rear size.
Edited to add: I have been told that PS3 in rear size is not(will not be?) available. Anyone have other information?
