Presumably the European one has fuel injection, as they're calling it a 200i ?
Looks immaculate though...if you can afford it.
Do I recall reading something to the effect that TVR were going to (or did) release a sleeved-down Rover V8 in 2L capacity, something to do with Italian tax laws at the time...?Looks immaculate though...if you can afford it.
Both the german club site and the sellers site do not give away any details for the engine or capacity/layout (re 'italian' law..........)
I think this is a 'special' one and needs saving, so............
I will be on holiday (well, a TVR rally, really....) for the next two weeks, but if i can be of help for those interested, please PM me
Frank

The general consensus is 16. I own 6.25% of the production output!
This is a lesson for those who advocate a 'starter' TVR. Martin Lilley made this as a cheaper TVR but the saving in the cost of the engine was next to nothing compared to the reduction in list price; when you look at the cost of development against numbers sold the economics look even worse. As a footnote it makes the Cosworth turbo conversion easier: http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/profile.asp?mem...grahamw48 said:
Hence the sarcasm in my post.
Just to put a damper on that joke, there WAS a 2 litre OHC electronic injection engine as fitted to later Granada and Sierra, which could be easily retrofitted, if you're good with wiring that is !!
But if you're going that far, the Cossie is a far better bet...
The black one in Germany sold on Ebay UK for £2500 in September,it was discussed before....
