list of wedges that wont now make it.

I thought of going but I cannot be dealing with anorak type behaviour when it comes to where cars are parked etc - if I turned up with my modded and cool looking rear end I run the risk of being ignored and discluded for not having a proper Wedge so as far as I'm concerned I will stick to doing my own thing and will give so the called establishent the finger....

Better add Zigmester to that list :P
You wouldnt want to get on a boat with him, with the Jinx he has on his shoulder
Genetics can be a cruel bastid...Not only do i look like my great grandfather but i inherited his luck..He was the captain of the titanic! You wouldnt want to get on a boat with him, with the Jinx he has on his shoulder
Oh i forgot to say...The iceberg was wedge shaped...The irony...

Thats a shame, have a re-think coz it would be good to cast an eye over it, you could park next to my skoda ! There is more than one person going afterall, go on bring it along.
And it would be good to put a face to a name for those of us that don't get out much. Wooly

At the end of the day it's your car and you can do whatever you like to it, no matter what others think. I think you are wrong in thinking that you would be ignored at the Fest, in fact I think it would be quite the opposite. You are at the centre of a very important debate for Wedge enthusiasts, for and against preserving the Wedge in it's original state. You should stand your ground and be proud of your work. I think you would have many supporters wanting to know what you have achieved. Remember, you can't please everyone all of the time. I for one was looking forward to meeting you for a chat as I do admire your work and enthusiasm on the Wedge and I'm sure I am not alone. There are two sides to every argument and you should be proud to put your argument forward. Go on. Have a re think and maybe we'll see you there. Tony. TCB.
Alas for the first time ever I won't make a wedge fest
I was going to bring the chevy van, along with all non original mods.
Have fun lads and look at all the cars and what people do to them to keep them running sweet.
Still miss mine. Standard 400SE with a 450BV lump and wonderful sparkly paint
16' oz shining in the sun, jag afm and injectors, dvd player, a few SH bits, modded stainless exhaust, chim seats and roof stays
Also had a rope for the tug o war at work
Enjoy

+1, I agree with Tony.Tony. TCB.
Yours is one of the Wedges I'm most looking forward to seeing.
After lots of careful thought, I'm going to have to give it a miss this year which makes me sad.
The date clashes with Flying Legends at Duxford and I'm afraid Legends wins this year for a couple of reasons.
However there will be as a consequence, a nice 450SE at the airshow instead.
Enjoy the day and I hope you all have a good run out on Saturday afternoon.

Does a "proper" Wedge exist? They are all kitcars to a greater or lesser extent (there, that should upset the purists)maston said:
