Bargain lunchtime deals for next week? SE/London

Wifey and I have taken next Tuesday off work to go out for Lunch to celebrate out anniversary.

We are in Newbury, happy to travel an hour or so, even in to London.

Anyone know of any particular special lunch time menus in nice restaurants that are worth travelling to?

If you want London and can get a reservation, Le Gavroche - £52.60 lunch menu including wine.

Or the Dorchester, (Alain Ducasse) does a similar deal.
In fact most top places have good deals for lunch, the higher end ones tend to have a dress code though and you might have left it a bit late for bookings.
More central I like J.Sheeky for fish and Wild Honey I can also recommend.
Poule et Pot for more rustic french
Chez Bruce for more french.

Have you been to The Vineyard at Stockcross? virtually on your doorstep or the Crab is pretty close.
Finally L'Ortolan in Reading is a good shout.
