wavey

I've only got a 4gb XBOX, and I was looking at pre-ordering GTA V, but have just seen you need at least 8GB for it. Just been looking at hard drives and they're about £80 yikes

Any one know where I can get them cheaper?

2nd hand I guess? If it's an older xbox they are dirt cheap on ebay. If it's a new fancy one then I have no idea sorry smile

Go get a cheap USB key drive. You can install 360 games onto them.

Guide and list here:

Was looking at using a USB stick but rumour has it that you can't install patches/updates to games when using one?

Never come accross that. Got a link to the info that says you can't?

Just saw it on this one - http://www.amazon.co.uk/320GB-Internal-Slim-Hard-D... - and it seems like it means that if it isn't a Microsoft product, it can't happen?

you do know, that the 8 gig is to install the game to the hard drive. which you still need the dvd in the tray to run it.

you can still play it without installing it, unlike on a ps3.
