Just bought a Fuel Gauge Sender Unit
Discussion
I remembered that last year at the Fest I spoke with the guys at David Gerald's
who said they had a sender unit in stock for my 400SE
So I have just (finally remembered) and bought one for £49.80 inc Vat
- to be picked up on Saturday at the Fest this year
I thought these were no longer available anywhere?
Well they are available - either a "bolt in" type or a "clip in" type (mine is clip in)
Mike a new guy at Gerald's was very helpful and made it all very easy and says
they have another 12 in stock which they will bring some with them to the Fest
Get in there quickly guys

I was given a new one of these sender units for my 400SE when I bought my car, with a new metal ring and seal etc. the problem is when I examined the old one, which is on it at the moment, it looks a bit different. For a start this one is almost all plastic and there are three terminals on the mack whereas mine is metal and only has one screw terminal in the middle on the back. Have they been modified or have I been given the wrong one. Only the guy that gave it to me was certain it is the correct one and he had bought it from David Gerald I believe. My existing one still works but it's a bit wishy washy and all over the place. Any ideas gentlemen before I dismantle the old one.
