What is it?

Whilst removing the bobbins that hold the radiator in place I noticed a ??????? not sure what behind the offside indicator [looking from where the front grill was before removal on my 93 car]. It is about 6 inches diameter by about 8 inches long, is plastic & seems to have a couple of tubes coming out of the top? & possibly a/some wiring! At one end [the bottom] is has a large jubilee clip that has broken [so it could have fastened to something?]. I can reach in & get hold of it and it moves.

Any ideas what it is? I cannot begin to think what it could be!
