Dear Friend,

You’ll have probably noticed that your copy of SCaN is delivered by Yorkshire Post Newspapers, these days.

This is for two reasons;

1. There are so many people now requesting and reading the safety cameras newspaper…

2. Nobody knows more about delivering newspapers in this part of the world than Yorkshire Post newspapers.

However, if you want to get in touch with SCaN - send us a letter, comment, query or contribution - then you should do so directly, not via Yorkshire Post Newspapers. Our contact details are on the back page.

So… whether you’re a new reader or have been with us for a while… WELCOME to the “family of friends” who read SCaN to learn more about what’s being done in West Yorkshire to make local roads - and the communities alongside them - safer and better places to be.

Best wishes,

Philip J Gwynne MIPR MCIM Head of Public Affairs
West Yorkshire Casualty Reduction Partnership

What a load of lies and propaganda. I once emailed Philip Gwynne to air my views on the topic of speed cameras and he now includes me in his "family of friends".

If anyone wants a copy of the SCAM Newsletter Word document, mail me through my profile.

Just mail back to the guy at the Yorkshire post making your views clear. I Did and he doesn't send me it any more! The Gnome(I've seen him and he resembles something from Gringotts), is full of tricks like this.

If you didn't acually subscribe isn't it spam and therefore illegal?

Seen his photo in a paper - he looks like a gnome.

They all look like ... gnomes and goblins. Small, weak and no muscles....personalities to match probably... and not one brain cell to share between them ... It is s-s-scary! Like the twighlight zone.....and they have as many prickles as ... hedgehogs when you dare tell them the truth - except they don't teach the Green Cross Code or any road safety stuff

You have to tell THEM the truth, Wildy, 'cos they sure as hell ain't gonna tell you.

I'm still waiting (since Feb) for some information from Bath and NES scammers. With a 8 month wait it would be something nasty and technical. You know, like the full regression to the mean stats for all their cashpoints (sorry - safety cameras).

Nope.

All I want is the causation factors from the stats 19 forms for ONE single, measly, solitary scamera site.

And you know what?

They won't even confirm or deny that may know or not know anything about the camera. Apparently it's all someone else's problem.

They'd make Sir Humphrey blush.

And they need a bit of help with their written English. It's pure "call centre" English - lots of big words inappropriately used to disguise the fact they have very, very little to say.
