It may be a very cheap track day car for someone, (not you Peter) but get the basics done sort the engine and suspension, cover it in stickers and hey presto, a fun car that don't matter too much if you run out of talent.

Because of the way the car is registered it will be worth a lot of money to a certain type of person!! (Unscrupulous) I'll not go into detail on a public forum but may involve the removal of Reg and Chassis plates. Some poor b'stard may end up with a car that is not quite as it appeared.

I'm guessing someone has already done something similar as that isn't a dutton from what I can see...

mmm v5 says is a dutton, which it clearly isnt...

v5 says its a 1.4, mm its got a pinto 2ltr pinto in there..

front suspension are triumph wishbones...dutton had some models with such wishbones.

i guess ths car started its life as dutton and was heavily altered (bodywise) at some stage.

not a real "ringer". its not an e.g. MK-indy or a Locost where a Dutton V5 was used to come around the IVA test.

How do you know this car is stolen?

I didn't say 'ringer' but it does not look like any Dutton I've seen.....it was to bring to the attention of any Dutton experts.
