Manchester to Blackpool

Doing the Manchester to Blackpool 60 mile ride tomorrow.

Anyone else doing it, I will have Pistonhead multi top on.

good practice for the ride 100 in 3 weeks.

start time is around 7 from Manchester, hopefully not too warm.

Does it go along the a583 from Preston to Blackpool?
If so will keep an eye out for you as the motorhome dealership i work at os right on it.
Dont open til 11 tho so i suppose everyone will be past by then?

finished under 4 hours.

was a nice route, need to watch out for other cyclists when overtaking.

idn't spot you, sadly. I was also in a PH multi top, 3hrs 32 to blackpool according to Strava, although I didn't show on the segment? Junder 10 hours home - machester - blackpool - home (140 miles), with 8 hrs 30 ish moving time.
Also raised a mighty 40 pounds for cancer, and regret not wearing any sunscreen.
