Hi all, you may have seen my other thread about the bad luck with my 911 (996). Ended up being Big end bearing not IMS failure which wasn't pleasant.

I ended up using Colwill's Garage in North Devon. The communication from them was amazing, the time from picking up and full engine strip/rebuild including all works was 2 weeks.

The Garage is spotless and fully loaded for Porsches! The chap who owns this place is called "Jamie". The pricing is better then ive found anywhere and no skimping because of the price.

The works i had done....

1X FULL PORSCHE ENGINE GASKET/SEALS/BEARING KIT = £907

1 X CONSUMABLE CHARGE = £20

1 X AIR CON GAS = £20

5 X ANTI FREEZE = £3.75 (X5=£18.75)

1 X OIL FILTER = £8.98

10.5 X 5/40w ENGINE OIL = £4.95 (X10.5=£51.98)

24 X HYDROLIC TAPPETS = £10 (24X£10=£240)

1 X LOW TEMP THERMOSTAT = £55

7 X BROKEN STUD REMOVAL = £15 (7X£15=£105)

1 X BREATHER UNIT = £83.08

2 X CYLINDER BLOCK SKIMS = £55 (2X£55=£110)

2 X CYLINDER HEAD SKIM = £35 (2X£35=£70)

1 X CRANKSHAFT = £650

1 X CONROD = £40

1 X RECOVERY CHARGE = £250

LABOUR £1,370.00

FINAL TOATL INCLUDING 'VAT' WAS £4800 (including vat)

Also found out my IMS has the double bearing upgrade already done so didn't need this done.
