Interesting Welsh roads/places to stay combo thread

planning a four day stay in Wales, plan is to stay in something unusual (e.g. yurt, teepee, nuclear bunker!) so we can spend the days enjoying the road and the rest of the time doing... well, that bit is none of your business!

seriously though, anyone got any recommendations for unusual places to stay, I'm guessing that north Wales would be best?
