What do you mean by that?
Are you saying that it had a LARGE single canopy.
If so, it could have been a Harvard or perhaps one of the Yak 18 family.
Won't have been a Douglas Dauntless because, as far as I know, there is only one flying example in the world and that lives in the US.

Suspect it's the same one that was parked up at North Weald for ages before some Swiss chap bought it - I was there when he and his mates rocked up one morning to fly it - any radial that's been left standing for a while needs careful pre-start handling, so it took them most of the morning to get going, at which point it disappeared in a huge cloud of oil smoke, before repeatedly thundering around the circuit. Yes it is, My mistake. I found a generic online photo that looked like the one I saw and posted it, then realized it was in fact the same one once I had a poke around it.It's parked up in Cov with wings folded up and have to say the fuselage and all the systems look like it has just come out of the factory. It is very clean.
There is quite a big trail of oil where it has been moved into the hangar though.
