Vauxhall Astra speedo and abs fault

Hi All me again i have got a 56 plate Astra 1.8 auto with the speed o not working and the abs lamp on plus the spanner light on. Now i have checked and replaced the n/s hub bearing and checked the wiring up to the engine bay all ok fuses all ok and o/s abs wiring ok but still not working do you know if the code in the system has to be cleared and if not any ideas please.

your abs module has failed,did plenty of these on Vauxhalls,more expensive if the car has esp,but some can be repaired.

was it working before you changed the bearing?

Hi all i changed the bearing because i was told that was the pick up point for the not working speedo and abs lamp on fault and yes i have got it booked in for code read test.
So i think the abs module could be the next step.

i would expect a wheel speed sensor problem for a non working speedo
