Picture of Noble with Dash removed?
Discussion
Thanks, just did a search and looked at the pictures, unless i'm missing something, that modification seems to be concerned with the plumbing on the front side of the bulkhead, whereas i'm interested in the plumbing inside the cabin to the dash and side air vents.
Do you have a picture/thread in mind that shows this?
Thanks in advance

if you do the tunnel mods the cabin becomes pressuried slightly at speed and no hot air comes in
you have cabin pressure and tunnel mod on your brain... this isn't whats being asked for.OP I had my dash out last year but didnt take pictures... I think Urb took pics when his was out and there were some pictures on the US forum ("noble-forum" rather than the "noble-speed" one)

Thanks very much for that link, very helpful.
So from that main picture it seems that there is the top two outlets of the heater box, then a t-piece, which gives four outlets for wind screen demisting.
It then looks like, although not clear, that there is two additional outlets (on the side maybe) which lead to the side air vents. Is this correct?
My intension is to add in a pair of centre air vents, and relocate the heater controls and gauges. (Over winter)
My centre panel is leather trimmed, so i'm hoping to make it from MDF or similar so i can retain the factory profiles on the edges and then the leather will cover it nicely, retaining the nice finish. Or use the wood to make a mould, and get a carbon fibre panel or similar made or something, not sure yet.
Thanks
Matt

i think the tunnel mod should sort out his cooling issues
I already have the tunnel cooling mod. Its still too hot in the cabin for me with this recent bout of hot weather (and black bodywork!). The airflow from the A/C is lovely, but the distribution is poor, its this distribution that i'm looking to improve.
My heater controls also feel mushy, so i susept there is some cable issues that could need some attention too.

yep, 4 outlets from heater
2 on top which are split into 4 for the windscreen deminsting, 2 on side which go to the 2 forward facing vents.
I also modified the center section and then had the entire dash covered in leather... meant I was able to fit a double din stereo in the center panel.... be interested to see your progress so keep us informed

i have seen these fitted to rally cars

you may be able to bump up the fan power using them

Thanks for the link, hadn't seen them before. I'm going to try and do it using the standard stuff, but thats good info to have in the back pocket.
The previous owner of the car mentioned the rear window. It could be replaced with perspex with those air vents that is used in race cars to draw some air through. Not sure if its a good or bad idea with the talk of positive/negative pressure in the cabin, but interesting thought all the same.
Thanks
Matt

Hi All,
A further question regarding these pair of centre air vents i wish to install.
At the weekend i had the passenger seat out and the radio out which gave me some decent access behind the dash so i had a quick look.
2004 GTO3R BTW
The heater box seems to have three stubs pointing towards the rear of the car, the left one supplying the left air vent, the middle one is blanked off, and the right one supplys the right air vent. (and two on top for demisting as described further up this thread)
Has anyone any idea about this centre one thats blanked off, can it be used for additional 'centre' air? Is that the use in the donar car that it comes from? Anyone had the heater box open and knows the internal layout of the cavities?
Many thanks
