Hi, I have recently joined PH and I also have bought a 4.0 Chimaera. It is a 1995 M reg, they old question is the book to use for reference is ?? Steve heath or any other suggested print.

Yes, you are spot on about the Keyboard, but there is always the hesitation about asking too many basic questions that may cause nuisance rather than create knowledge.

Very true, but you could always search first and ask second. If you are new to the marque and have a question, I say ask away, thats what these boards are for after all.

Thanks for your help, but I suppose first things first;Get the book, join the TVRCC and then start with the search for a well priced hard top and carpet. I am lucky it has cosmetic work only as it is mechanically and electrically sound.

You'll be lucky. The only hard top there is is in the Malaysian market, and it's only on the race cars.

Carpets £180 from www.carcarpets.co.uk. They will send colour samples of the carpet & piping options.

I have contacted that site and will see what comes back. Thanks to all who replied, as this will get me started for my winter project. On the subject of a hard top I will try TVR body shop for a renovation kit if its available, anyway cheers to all of you.
