Factory sport seat option

Does anybody know about an optional
Esprit seat called the sport option?
It was supposedly an option when the
car was made. The stock seats are
flat and have no side support
whatsoever. The article I saw was
referring to a 1995 S4s in particular.

Thanks, but that is exactly where I
read about them in the first place!
I had never seen those seats in any
Esprit before. It didn't mention
price, weight, etc. Nobody I called
makes aftermarket seats for the
Esprit. I wanted to have a rough
idea of them before I called my dealer
and paid retail squared.

If you want sports seats, you can probably do it without going for the 'genuine' article lotus seat (which will probably be extremely expensive).

Alternatively, you could post up on the uk yahoo group and see if someone with a GT3 or V8-GT wants to swap the factory sports seats (fixed back racing seats) for your armchairs..
