Hi guys.

I'm new to the forum and am considering purchasing a used V12 Vantage. In making the decision I would like to know what Aston's plans are for the current shape of the Vantage, which has been around since 2006 for the V8 and 2009 for the V12 I believe.

Does anyone have insight into the future of the Vantage, potential changes in shape, or replacement models?

Cheers

You could take a few cues from the CC100 - possibly. Lights, grille, side strakes, the general lines of the car could all be a glimpse into the not too distant future, especially as the CC generally is a Vantage underneath. The V12Vs has only just come out and does wear a grille similar to the CC100. Could be a hint of an overlap of models for a while with new Vantage and V12Vs running side by side.

That's my best guess for what it's worth.

May I suggest that you do not drive a V12 Vantage unless you are in a position to proceed with the purchase. I have asked my local dealer to keep an eye out for one and in the meantime have posted one of my kidneys for sale on fleabay/gumtree etc.

The next V12 Vantage is the V12VS. It's slightly different, but not radical.

There's photos online.

I would imagine a V8 facelift would look similar.
