Hi all,

Does anyone know the size of the threads on our brake bleed nipples?

I've got a slightly weepy one and want to replace them all with the goodridge bleed nipples that have a one way valve in them to make it quicker and easier to bleed the system.

Cheers

I want to replace mine with stainless ones, and have been wondering what the correct size is

I'm guessing M10x1mm

Gents,

They are indeed M10 x 1mm. Hose fittings are 3 JIC.

Cheers,
Graeme

Definitely, it's something I've been meaning to replace as the rusty ones look terrible.

For the goodridge speed bleeder type I've spoken to demon tweeks, they can only offer 10% off but its better than nothing.

These have a one way valve in them so the nipple can just be undone once, pedal pumped until fluid runs bubble free/clear then closed, no need to open, press, close, lift x10 per nipple.

Remember you need 2 per calliper.

Call John Harris on 01978 663 057 to place an order for these with 10% off

I also bought a pitking twin hose bleed bottle, so I can open both nipples at once, pump the brake pedal a few times, close bleed nipples and move onto the next corner. Makes the whole process nice and easy!
