Little idea I am mulling over... very interested to get feedback from regular track day attendees here...

Would the idea of having a, say 10-20 minute, professionally shot film of you day out at your favourite track in your pride and joy appeal to you? Your own little personal Top Gear film basically - loads of beautiful shot of your car , both static and on track, in car footage, possibly an interview with you and your co-driver/mechanic about how you've set the car up. All shot on broadcast cameras and cut by a top class editor to whichever piece(s) of music you specify.

Would that be something you'd be prepared to dip into your wallet to have as a memento?

I feel cost may be a significant consideration here. I suspect for the service you have described, you'd have to charge significantly more than your regular trackday-goer will be prepared to pay.

It wouldn't be cheap. But it would be a genuine quality product. And I would suggest the average trackday user isn't short of some money. It would very much be for those in seriously good cars who want something that really shows them off that they can have as a memento, post on Youtube, blog, whatever they want.

I'm just kicking it around. But - back of fag packet - say £150 for the finished product. The price of an average, good quality track day
