folding surrey top

TopgearTVR, can you tell us about your folding surrey top you mention in best mechanical mods thread. Did you make it or buy it? ,Do have a photo.

The roof and the time it takes to put up are my main complaint with my S2,

Ive had it a while. It cost a mint (near £450 I think, maybe even £500!). It does the job well, fits in the boot easily but it still take 3 mins to fit.

I hanker after a proper folding roof but find this is a fine compromise - especially if you like to put something other than roof panels in the boot

Thanks Top Gear. A bit too expensive for me, but a super idea. How are the back and front of the surrey top formed to fit the windscreen and hood profiles.. Are they made of fibreglass?.
