Anyone going to the Mallory Park Classic Festival in August?

Wonder if any PH'ers are going to the Mallory Park Classic Festival the first weekend in August?

I understand it's run by the Classic Touring Car Racing Club, so there should be a good mix of cars racing there.

Does anyone have a link to a web page for the event?

Great timing- clashes with HSCC Croft nostalgia weekend- which is a must for me.

I'm racing in the Nippon Challenge on the Saturday.

I'm racing a Droopsnoot Firenza in the pre 83 touring cars. It's a shame that last years pre 73 grid has been merged with the more modern cars but there just wasn't enough earlier cars. I'm not sure what the timetable is so could be out on Satuday or Sunday. Car no 80 BTW.

I'm racing in the Nippon Challenge on the Saturday and the MR2 series on the Sunday. Car Number 5 if anyone feels they'd like to introduce themselves while we drink all Hybrid's beer.

I will be there in my Chevrolet 3rd Gen Camaro, I will be in Pre 83's in the invitation class and Pre 93's in Class A. I too lament the passing of the Pre 74's and would have taken my 2nd Gen car if that was still running but there you go (the pre 74's not my car, that's fine!).

Okay guys, here is the official Mallory Park entry list - with more time still for a few more entries to come through! This list doesn't include the non-club supports like the AROC Alfas and the French and Jap cars and Track Attack all of which offer further excitement to the spectator. Not too shabby methinks!
