In short, no, when driving you are required to use your own card

If its your 1st Digi card I believe you are required to wait until the card arrives before driving a vehicle with a Digi tachograph, however if you have been issued with a card and it becomes faulty, you can drive for two weeks after its reported, taking printouts daily

I will add, that whilst I have a digital card, that I havent ever used it and that I have virtually no idea at all how they function or how you use a digital tacho.

be careful how you carry your card as well, when I first went to use mine it was faulty due to putting it in my wallet next to my bank card, apparently this can cause static between the cards & cause it to fail as it did in my case.

And remember to have it with you, cos you got one you need to be able to produce it.

It's 5 working days, not 2 weeks.

It's 14 days...

I believe they aim to get a new one to you within 5 working days.
