Bray

I want to finally try a few of the top restaurants and pubs in Bray, after hearing all the hype.
Is the village itself interesting enough to warrant spending a whole weekend there (sat morning/sun evening)? Or are there any interesting places/attractions nearby?

Is there a specialist travel agent that will arrange accomodation+bookings at a few of the top foodie hangouts for me? I can't be arsed to log on to the Fat Duck's website ever single day...

Bray itself has very little to do, and Maidenhead which is the next town also has very little to do in the way of sight seeing etc.

You could always head into Windsor which is a 10 min drive away if you fancy having a look at the Castle or if the weather is like this you could hang around on the River.

I live around Bray and to be honest there's nothing in the village, not even a corner shop etc! I stayed in a lovely cottage next to the Fat Duck, booked through www.braycottages.com - it wasn't cheap (organised by a friend) but the house was stunning, huge open plan space downstairs, B&O kitted out cinema, big garden with bifold doors etc and wireless sound throughout the place.

Aside from the restaurants there's not much going on, so I'd be more tempted to stay in Windsor (or Cliveden) unless you get one of the cottages in Bray village.

The only restaurant you'll really struggle to get a table as is The Fat Duck!
