what was the cost and can you do a straight swap out?

Is it in warranty? If so you need to have a Porsche one to maintain warranty or renew warranty.

If you want to renew a Porsche warranty when it runs out you will have to use one of theirs for something stupid like £200 (that is what it was in Belgium anyway). Note that the battery is NOT covered under the normal warranty - it is only guaranteed for 2 years, thus if your car is 2 and a half years old, still in warranty and you bought it 18 months ago from a main dealer : tough. If you manage to abuse it to a point which kills it in less than 2 years on a consistent basis : free batteries for life.

No - I am not impressed, but I didn't have time to research where I could get an alternative in the middle of a journey with a chunnel to catch.

Fit a Bosche for £85 and deal with renewal of warranty when you need too,

If you buy a Porsche one you will need another by warranty renewal any way lol.

I went through this for my .2 GT3. It is a 55H size battery.
