Popping and a banging

I saw a silver nob going through ware last weekend and it was giving a lovely popping and banging when slowing down
Why do some do that, I like that!!!!!!!

This is a bit worse than normal as it was taken after my hose burst at the weekend, normal pops and bangs are nice on overrun, roush system does it well

Mine does it quite alot! Got a custom free flowing exhaust. No cats, just straight pipe going into 2 small-ish boxes. Has even been known to pop a flame or two on overrun after giving it the beans
