TVRCC Herts, Beds & Middlesex: Event for the summer
Discussion
Hi folks
As I've had little success with the Rolls Royce idea to date, I was thinking about what other possible event to do late this summer that is not car show related.
Here are some choices...
Thoughts?

Here are some choices...
- Clay pigeon shooting in Hertford (close by - different)
- A visit to the Haynes museum (good museum, long drive)
- A visit to the Beaulieu museum (good museum, shorter drive)
- Slot car racing (if I can find a good place that does it)
- Another visit to the Prodrive company (they have a new site)

For pigeon shooting - which of the following packages would people want...
1. Have-a-Go Clay Shooting Experience
shooting instructor 20 Shots - £25 per person, minimum 2 people This is for people who have never had any experience of handling or firing a shotgun and would like to know if it is the sort of thing that would appeal to them. It is an ideal way for a group of friends to get together for an hour or so to try it out together and makes an ideal anniversary type event. We usually put on these events on a Saturday, when the Clubhouse is open for refreshments. We have a shooting stand with an instructor, and everyone takes turns to shoot at a choice of targets so in the end you will each shoot at 20 targets. The typical group size is 5 or 6, and it takes about an hour. We supply all the necessary equipment.
2. 'High Gun' Clay Shooting Experience
shooting instructor30 Shots - £35 per person, minimum 2 people. As above for the Have a Go, but with the addition of an extra 10 shots competition – usually shot in pairs and a small trophy for the overall winner provided there are at least 5 participants in the group
Personally, I would say 2 as there are 6 of us.
Can people look and see what they want asap?
Thanks!

PRODRIVE
Hi folks
For those who expressed an interest in doing a Prodrive tour this year
(Prodrive have new premises this year and/or missed you missed last year's
one), the only dates they have available in October is the weekend
of the 19-20th, i.e. either the Saturday or the Sunday.
If you are interested AND can make those dates - can you let me know ASAP,
so I can book it?
Many thanks, Alex.
