Hi does anyone know where I can find a quick guide to filling/bleeding the T350 cooling system or indeed tell me how it's done? Had a bit of an issue last night with overheating and want to make sure everything's working as it should before I take it to the dealer

Many thanks

Can't advise on your predicament unfortunately but before you go down that route I presume the both fans are kicking in as they should?

By overheating I presume you mean it was just a warning that came up on the dash?
If you plugin the computer you should be able to see if there is a difference betweeh the dash and ecu readings, because they come from separate sensors.
My dash sensor was reading 10c more than ecu sensor triggering dash warnings. Its well behaved now, for no apparent reason... have replacement ready for when it starts beeping at me again.

I had exactly the same, but felt much better once i'd plugged it in and found out it was over reading by 10 degrees.

If i'm sitting in traffic is can spend some time in the 110 - 115 range (so really 100 - 105). If i rev to 2000rpm and hold it there for a few seconds it soon drops to mid 90's - is this normal or anything to be worried about? Thankfully it's never gone pop on me!

Nope, A pipe popped off and put coolant all over my driveway unfortunately. Refilled it temporarily with water to get me to halfords for some new coolant so now I just want to know the correct way to bleed it.

I'm assuming I should open expansion tank when cold, fill to max then warm car for a bit and then open bleed screw when hot and running to sort any air locks but this seems a bit long winded doing this over and over.

Which bleed screw is the best one at the "top" of the system? Any neat tricks to save time?

Lift the front end up on a jack then do the above, it might take a few goes to get all the air out but what you suggest should be ok.

I had this modification done during my last service at TvR. Great piece of kit, does exactly what it says on the tin. Checking water level is so easy, in fact it takes me longer to open the bonnet! biggrin
