Where can I get brake discs??
Discussion
Take your disc off and send it off to either Tarox or Black Diamond - and they'll make you a set - the tarox set will last pretty good - plus they look nice too!
Any idea on time/cost? Need them sharpish, and just paid for new clutch, so not too flush at the mo!
Cheers.

are they "warped" or worn?
warped should just need skimming, otherwise it's probably worth giving topcats a call as they should be able to help you out with something (unless you've tried them already?)
Well....they were warped, so got them skimmed whilst car was at dealer. No 5 times as bad, car is shaking itself apart when braking! Not fun. They have been skimmed once before too, so figure it's time to stop messing about and get some new ones.
Depending on the size, and if you want ventilated ones and grooved etc etc...
Tarox 300mm+ discs can cost anywhere from 400 to 2000 depending on material, features etc etc.
For a set of Ventilated grooved TVR Cerbera size discs which will be excellent - you're looking at around 5-600 for the front two discs, custom sized of course, might be cheaper if they already have the size and bolt pattern....
Edited to Say:
AP have the size and config in stock! Give them a ring... they're not cheap though - but well worth the money, its ideal you get a new set of pads too! - most wont agree with me on this one - but I recommend the Blue Stuff pads... I've got them on the GT - and she weighs an absolute elephant - the blue pads made an unbelievable difference - but - there is always a but - they have to be heated up first - so a few heated movements just to warm them up does the trick...

I just got a new set of front discs and pads from dealer (AP through TVR).
Can't help you with the cost as it was covered under my warranty, but it took nearly 3 months to get them!!!
Don't know if anyone else has had a similar experience in terms of the time wait, but if this is the norm I would say don't expect it to be a quick job.

Thanks for all the info guys. Tried Joolz, but he confirmed that the standard discs are in very short supply. Car is back at the dealer to see if they can at least get it back to the 'original' state, rather than being worse! Fingers crossed, but my have to go down the Tuscan disc route.
