Hi all,

I'm just wondering if anyone on here has some locations that they have used in the past or any good ideas as to where to photograph. My girlfriend and I are looking for somewhere to photograph a 1970 Dodge Coronet, ideally somewhere quiet but am open to any suggestions to get an interesting and varied shoot with the car. We're not limited to these two counties but are in Luton and don't want to have to travel too far.

All replies greatly appreciated

Many thanks

Dan

Built up areas or countryside?

Hi nelly,

We would like somewhere more rural preferably, however any suggestions are more than welcome and if anyone knows of a really interesting built up area to use then that would be great also. I think our ideal place would be at a lovely big manor house or similar, but past experience tells us that usually being allowed to use this sort of location is usually difficult.

Tried Wrest Park in Silsoe? Out of hours you should be able to get right in front of the mansion.

Many thanks both of you, they really look like the kind of thing we're after. Have either of you used these locations before and were allowed to do so?

Just my 2 cents but I don't think a manor house is the right setting for that car. I would look more at home in an industrial setting of some sort...not that I can suggest any in Beds or Herts I'm afraid but I'm sure there's plenty around the luton area.

Wrest Park is an English Heritage place, you may have to get permission first.

I agree with the post above though, not sure it will suit the car.

Thanks nelly and mike, I'm starting to come round to your suggestions of a more industrial setting. Do you guys have any places in mind?

Thanks again, really appreciate the input smile

Fire Caves are interesting idea. I've not been in so long. Can you get a car in there?!
