Good, then it won't be so laughable when people call them "driver's cars".

RWD is overrated. Only better in ideal conditions. New M3 versus my Brera Q4 on the Evo triangle in typically Welsh conditions and the power was unusable. Currently own a RWD Alfa, a Q4 one & a Q2 FWD one.

I'd take that with a pinch of salt. MiTo and G replacements are still in the plan AFAIK, and I can't see them being RWD.

Interesting, personally find the FWD Alfa's impressive. I am more interested in the point that they are focusing more on the dynamics.

Also 2015 for the Giulia....gulp.

The Giulia has been 2015 for a while, IIRC.

Here's the product plan from late last year:

Can't see any reason for them to have abandoned B & C really.

Damn I thought the Giulia was going to be '14. Oh well I should have run the 159 into the ground by then smile
I'm happy to hear the model range will be mostly RWD although it's not a major factor. If you had of told me 3 years ago I'd have a 4 cyl FWD as a daily I'd have called you mad but now quite happily nip around in it. It makes the right noises and drives well. Just not that quick and I can't throw the back around corners like I used to when I was a teenager in a Falcon.

Great news, seems that Alfa are now going to try and beat the German established rivals on dynamics.

Seems that Alfa will become decedents of the Maserati range rather than FIAT, super excited for the future they should be back to making drivers cars.

Yeah, I'd presume its a case of someone saying that everything that they're currently working on is RWD & someone getting the wrong end of the stick.
