Citroen C2 GT Abs pump unit

Abs light lit up and auto spark tells me a new pump and unit is required. Anybody know if other Citroen pumps are compatible to increase buying choice, thanks.

Generally speaking the failure fall into three groups:

1) Wheel speed sensor / target problems and loom issues - failed (broken) target wheel or sensor leads to fault modes - dodgy looms and ageing connectors also - generally fixable without replacement of the main ABS pump /controller unit
2) with Bosch ABS units (5.7 iirc) the connections to the hybrid pcb fail with vibration - this can be repaired by the usual ecu repairers etc
3) with both Bosch & ATE units, the internal brake pressure sensor fails. Depending on model, this can sometimes be repaired, but sometimes requires complete replacement of the unit

Thanks, he has attempted a repair but its corroded and has asked me to find a replacement. Plenty on fleabay but has to be the correct one.

Obtained a C3 unit as a replacement, connected the brake pipes and bled them up. Codes checked and ABS light ok.
