Just driven 375 miles from Bolton to Lossiemouth in the red beasty in 5 hours 30 minutes ish. Absolutely fantastic. S behaved itself perfectly. I can definitely recommend the B9007. Wonderful road. 9 minutes 15 seconds between snow gates. Beat that!

I'll give your time a go next time I visit my parents in Lossie. What takes you up there ? Great roads .... but I prefer the journey more than the destination

Hi Richard,
Bolton was in Lancashire when I was born so I consider it a birth right to claim Lancs citizenship
I have a regular "going for a quick spin" route which takes me over Belmont to the M65 junction at Hoghton then back home via Haslingden I'll keep an eye out for you in future
