used c63 vs new a45?
Discussion
mmm can't decide.
Had a c63 previously. Epic. Loved it. If I bought another one it would be as a weekend car and drive my panda 4x4 as a daily for my 6 mile commute. 2011 used ones available with 20k for 30-32k ish.
Had a test drive in the a45. Again my type of car, very evo like, nothing then bang. very sharp all round. If I bought this I'd get rid of the trusty panda and use the a45 all year due to the better mpg and 4wd over the c63.
Everyone puts the a45 against the m135i but has anyone else been in my shoes and is considering one vs a c63?

hi i am currently looking at the same issue A45 AMG v C63 AMG but with a twist an SLK250 diesel auto for all use .
C63 for weekend use ditch my 300bhp ford focus+ citreon ds3
A45 for all use ditch both
SLK250 diesel keep the focus for weekend use hooning
would love the C63 but fuel consumption does worry me a little bit

I haven't driven the A45 but I do have a C63. Yes it drinks fuel but for a 460bhp car frankly I'm happy with 20ish mpg.
But more importantly, so far I can honestly say there has not been one time I resent the car for having such a poor mpg. The noise alone is worth it.....
Interestingly, in my house I have a convertible golf (wifes) my C63 and our 4x4. So far I have only driven the C63 to work since getting it, read into that what you will.
Tom.
