So what is the impact to the car if there are scrapes.... Having just read that it sounds like - how long is a piece of string.
Let me put it another way (I have a track pan) has anyone done any damage to their Noble going over these speed bumps in car parks/garages?
Dean mentioned a 4.5 inch clearence for us non metric types.

I have damaged the splitter on humps/kerbs, but not caused damage to the underside even though sometimes it sounds like something really bad has happened. Clearly it always sounds worse than it is.

Dunno if I'll keep it like that or not as it was done by the previous owner. Fair chance that I will as I've still grounded out a bit.
Raised by how much, and does it look visibly higher (what I mean is would someone walking past think 'Oh, that Noble looks a bit high off the ground).

Dan, I'm no expert but I thought that raising a car's ride height is a complex matter (for example, the Noble is built to such specifics that the factory seems to suggest that you don't even change the tyres for other makes as this'll upset the handling - I know many people have though) so you might like to find out what was done to your M12 "off-roader"?! LOL
Its only raised by a very small amount by vegantune. They apparently do it for a lot of their London based customers. Just gives me a little bit more leeway with speed bumps or the bottom of hills (my other half managed to ground the splitter at the base of a hill the other week!)
Anyway the car was like that when I got it, but if you are interested give vegantune a bell. I never drove the car enough prior to being raised slightly to make a useful comparison.
As to it looking jacked up or something, no it doesn't it looks fine.
