TdF brakes

Is it my eyes or do quite a few of the TdF bikes have only one brake? Usually just a front one.

The trend for aero is to conceal the rear brake under the chain stays.

Definitely want 2 brakes for big mountain descents!

Aah, that's where they've gone then. Even on the same team bikes they're in different places!
