When accelerating hard or not from time to timethe car will lose drive for a second or two then snatch back again. This also happens cruising on the motorway too. I've had a new clutch put in about 2000 miles ago and a new battery about 4 months ago. Any ideas would be helpful thanks.

My old one did something similar. I couldn't get to the bottom of it until it went for an MOT and the tester found a badly sticking fan clutch. Might not be that on yours but an easy one to check.

I have the engine light on the dash and the code reader diagnoses a faulty exhaust solenoid in bank two. Planning to remove the solenoid clean and resold all points shortly and reset. The clutch is done and the flywheel is apparently in good condition when inspected on the installation of the new clutch. But there is an oil leak on the drive shaft as it enters the LSD. The seal is slowly weeping but has been for some time and had no problems before hand but is due to be done too.

Replaced bank 2 intake and exhaust sensors which leaves vanos solenoids. Code 72 on the diagnostics which is exhaust solenoid not responding
