Bits n bobs ...
Discussion
Hi all
I have decided to properly exercise the car after all its mods and I am planning to do a trip down to the south of France by road via Calais and the Alps.
So after a good look through all my bits and pieces we all accrue in our garages, I am on the look out for a couple of bits and bobs to take with me just in case!!
So I am looking for a complete RV8 replacement throttle cable and some Princess 4 pot pads and a 400 SE bonnet in good condition with all the correct undamaged fixing points, colour does not matter as it will be painted to match my car.
Anyone got any?
Cheers
Chris

Wow that's quite a spares list you have put together for your trip, Chris. I'm afraid I sold my last spare bonnet but I had a look in the barn and this might fit.... you might have to bash it about a bit first though, or you could keep the "power bulge"....I am on the look out for a couple of bits and bobs to take with me just in case!!

;^)
For the throttle cable all you need is a bicycle cable inner long enough and a bolt with a hole drilled through to clamp the end. THis will save you some space.
Hi Chris...I found the pads..They are not green stuff as i think they were fitted to mine..These are LPR..They are for an austin princess..They are still in original packaging..You can check the reference here...Cheers...Ziga
