Oh I just bought a Nobile M12 GTO 3

Whoops i just bought a GTO 3 6 speed, love the car awesome! havent picked it up yet any advice?

As for advice, build up the pace (occasionally get crashed shortly after a new owner!), and use the wealth of information on here. The Wiki is good, and search is your friend. They are phenomenal cars.

Not suggesting an issue at all but be aware that someone has upgraded your original gearbox for a 6-speeder at some point.

Wasn't there a transition period where some GT03s were supplied with 6spd boxes and GT03Rs with 5spd?

mine has 6 spd also

No. I bought my GTO3 from new in May 2003 and the cars were supplied with the 5 speed box only.
3r's came out a few months later and the 6 speed was offered as an option on these.

Mine came with a 6 speed Box and I got mine new in March 2004.

Yes there were quite a few 3 with the six speed :-) Got some good plans for the car :-)
