Dawn Raid - Sunday 4th August

Hi folks, got an event organised for Sunday 4th August. Having participated in some excellent 'dawn raids' in the past, I thought it's about time we had another. Meet at Clifton Moor Tesco in York, any time from 6.45-7am. Set off just after 7 to head across the moors for a few hours (route is being finalised and I'll get print outs with directions for everyone), stop off for a beverage, before heading home. Hopefully we'll avoid the tourists and have some clear roads to enjoy! Please put your names below if attending:

As I said in FB though, 7am is too late a start for me so I will have to give it a miss

7am is a bit on the late side.....it's surprising how mainly cats begin to appear on the roads 7am onwards.....

I'm sure it'll be alright, the other ones we've done from that time have been good. Got some good stuff coming from the neighbouring village to me too. F355, 911 turbo to name a couple. Hoping a few more can join!

That'd be great if you could make it! I've never seen an LM500. In fact, I can count on one hand the number of Marcos I've seen, never mind gone on a hoon with.

im up for it, one question are there any fuel stations on the route?

i have a car with a small tank that will need feeding on v power or the likes

Hello, yes there are some fuel stations on the route; there's one at tesco where we start, they do 99. The next one is probably going to be Stokesley, then Whitby. I don't mind carrying a jerry can in the chims boot for you.

ok sounds ok.

i need to give it a run before sunday to make sure al is well, failing that ill use the vx220 saves you having to mess about for me
