The chassis has been modified by the previous owner, but I think this is how it should sit (first picture) and the tab with hole should pickup on the cross-member, the bit im not sure about is how it attaches underneath, there are two more tabs with holes on the chassis (second picture) which don't seem to line up with anything on the rad?

The fans seem to be mounted on the wrong side, surely they should be inboard sucking air though the matrix, as they are they will just block the airflow?

looks like your missing the two tabs from the lower front rail.

Just put my rad back in - should have taken pics!

Mine has tabs like pic above. Also has a bracket on the chassis rail with a captive nut to take the top mounting.

It's no problem with the fan's in front of the radiator. It can actually improve things on a cold day, keeping radiator temperature a bit higher.

If you can spare the spare wheel, do a 1995 ford transit radiator fit nicely.

Mine also has a tab on the transverse upper frame rail, that corresponds to the tab on the rad.

Best,

Eric the holes you see on johns picture are for the radiator to sit in without any bolts however there are rubber cups that you insert in the hole which you need to cushion the radiator then just one bolt at the top and the extrusions under the radiator which I presume are still there slot into the rubber cups trust this makes sense.

As I recall my origonal top rail, which picks up the bracket shown on the top of your rad, had Hank Bushes set in it for the radiator and the horn brackets.

Managed to find a picture of mine before I cut them to fit a cosworth sierra radiator.

There are three mounting points as discussed above. The bottom two are just pegs in rubber bushes and the top one is bolted.

I suppose I needs to put the original radiator up for sale now
